We provide a wide range of horse trekking rides that vary in duration and can cater for experienced riders. Whether you fancy an hour in the saddle or a full day exploring the local countryside, our rides are great fun and you’ll be looked after by friendly, experienced staff who know the local area. Pub rides

The local countryside around Sussex is an ideal place to explore on horseback and we offer a selection of routes that take in a rich diversity of scenery and local pubs. From magnificent views of the rolling high Weald and South downs to picturesque woodlands and hidden villages, our guided treks will let you discover the very best of Sussex.

Pub rides are fixed price and include nibbles and a drink at the end of your ride

Who can join the ride?
Trekking rides are open to anyone and we have a mix of regular and guest riders. So whether you live locally or are visiting Sussex and want to join us, please feel free – you’re always assured a warm welcome. We are 10 minutes from Gatwick, Crawley and Horsham train stations and collection can be arranged.

Do I need to be an experienced rider?
Yes, we recommend having some riding experience. Our walk and trot rides are ideal for those who want to get back in saddle again! For more experienced riders we can arrange a more challenging trek.

Do I need to bring my own equipment?
Yes, all riders must wear a riding hat for safety and customers should bring their own. Also, suitable footwear must be worn such as riding boots. Flat shoes are acceptable but strictly no open toed shoes.
